    • Activity Data (Step Count): The app may access your step count using your device’s sensors or the operating system’s activity APIs. This data is used exclusively to display activity statistics and step tracking within the app. Step count data is stored only locally on the user’s device and is not transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties.
  2. How We Use Your Information

    We use the information we collect to:

    • Allow you to sign in to the app and access personalized features.
    • Improve the user experience and personalize the content displayed based on your preferences.
    • Provide relevant ads through Google AdMob and Meta Ads (Facebook Ads), using mediation services, in accordance with applicable GDPR requirements.
    • Analyze how the app is used through Firebase Analytics, which collects anonymized data to improve functionality and performance.
    • Send notifications (local and push notifications), which you can manage through your device settings.
  3. Advertising

    We use Google AdMob and Meta Ads (Facebook Ads) to display ads in the NutriSmart app. With regard to privacy and European regulations, we comply with the GDPR and obtain explicit consent by displaying a GDPR consent message when you use the app in EEA countries, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Our advertising partners may collect anonymous data to personalize ads.

    Your information is stored in Firebase Firestore, hosted in the europe-west3 region (Europe). We take appropriate security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

    • Google and Meta for ad delivery.
