We have tried to answer some common questions below

To scan a product, use the green scan button in the bottom navigation bar. Click this button and take a picture of the product ingredients so the app can scan the information.

If you want to scan an image of the label from the photo gallery, click the small yellow icon next to the scan button, which changes how the image is captured. Once activated, the scan button turns into a gold button, allowing you to select an image from the gallery.

Users with a Pro or Premium subscription can access this feature to scan images from the gallery.

To invite a friend to the app, follow these simple steps:
1. Go to the Settings section of the app. There you’ll see a card at the top with a button that says “Send Invite”.
2. Click on this button and send your referral link to each friend.
3. Your friend will need to access that link and create an account in the app.
4. Once their account has been created, you’ll receive 12 Free Scans!

To get bonus scanning points, you can:
– Invite friends into the app using your referral link and you’ll get Free scans.
– Send us a detailed message about a problem you encountered with the app. That way we can solve the problem faster and you’ll be rewarded with bonus scanning points.

To add ingredient alarms (additives & hazardous ingredients) in the app, follow these simple steps:
– Each ingredient has a bell button in the top right corner of its dedicated page.
– If you press this bell, the alarm for that ingredient will be activated.
– Once the alarm is activated, each time you scan a product containing that ingredient, a red bell icon will appear next to each ingredient for which you have set an alarm.
– This way, you can quickly identify products that contain ingredients you want to avoid.

The information is taken from the websites of the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), as well as other specialized sources that review food additives and food ingredients, in order to provide our users with accurate and up-to-date data.
All this information in the app is presented for information purposes and we encourage users to do their own research if they feel it is necessary.
