• Personal information: email, first name, last name and profile picture (only if you sign in with Google). If you use Apple or Email authentication, we do not collect your profile picture.

We use the information collected to:

• A-allows you to log in to the app and access personalized features.
• Enhance your user experience and personalize the content displayed according to your preferences.
• To deliver relevant advertisements through Google AdMob and Meta Ads (Facebook Ads) using mediation services in compliance with applicable GDPR regulations.
• Analyze how your application is being used with Firebase Analytics, which collects anonymized data to improve application functionality and performance.
• Send notifications (local and cloud) that you can manage from your device settings.

3. Advertising and commercials

We use Google AdMob and Meta Ads (Facebook Ads) to serve ads in the NutriSmart app. In terms of privacy and European regulations, we comply with GDPR and use explicit consent by displaying a GDPR message when using the app in EEA countries, UK and Switzerland. Our advertising partners may collect anonymous data to personalize ads.

4. Data storage

Your information is stored in the Firebase Firestore database, hosted in the europe-west3 (Europe) region. We take appropriate security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

5. User rights

Depending on the applicable law, you have the following rights:

• Access and correction: You have the right to access and correct the personal information we hold about you.
• Data deletion: you can request the deletion of your account and all data associated with it at any time.
• Manage notifications: You can manage local and cloud notifications directly from your device settings.

6. Sharing data with third parties

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to provide the application services or to comply with legal regulations. Our partners include:

• Google and Meta for serving ads.
• Firebase for authentication, analysis and data storage.

7. Data security

We take appropriate measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access and loss. However, no data storage method is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute data security.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to services or legal requirements. Any changes will be notified to users via the app.

9. Changing privacy preferences and personalized ads

NutriSmart app users have the right to manage and modify their privacy preferences, in particular with respect to personalized advertisements. At any time, you can choose to accept or revoke your consent to personalized ads by going to the settings on your app or device. This includes the ability to opt to display non-personalized ads.
